本书是中国社会科学院马克思主义理论研究和建设工程"马克思主义专题研究文丛"之一《当代中国史研究》的第三辑，旨在反映2012年度当代中国史研究的基本面貌和总体水平。鉴于成果的代表性和研究领域的覆盖面，编者们谨从该年度国内报刊发表的有关论文中选取了37篇，并按文章内容，大体分为国史理论与学科发展、政治史、经济史、文化史、社会史、外交史与国防史七个部分，依次排序。(This book is one of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences' Marxism research and construction projects — "Special Topic Study of Marxist Literary Associations", Volume 3 of Contemporary Chinese History Studies. Its purpose is to make known the fundamental features and general standard of studies in contemporary Chinese history in 2012. In light of the results of the representative coverage in the field of research, the editors have carefully picked 37 related articles published in newspapers throughout the year. They have been divided generally into 7 parts and arranged sequentially according to the content of the articles: national history and the development of the discipline, political history, economic history, cultural history, social history, the history of foreign affairs, and the history of national defense.)
