胡公石先生，是近代书法大师于右任先生的入室弟子，我国著名的草书大家。历任全国第六、第七届政协委员，中国标准草书学社社长，宁夏回族自治区文史研究馆馆长，宁夏书画院院长，宁夏书法家协会名誉主席，江苏省文史研究馆副馆长等职，国家一级美术师。(Mr. Hu Gongshi, boarding student of modern calligraphy master Yu Youren, is also a renowned calligrapher in cursive script.
