做人当有大格局 (Have a Bigger Picture of Life)

有这样一句谚语：再大的烙饼也大不过烙它的锅。这句话的哲理是：你可以烙出大饼来，但是你烙出的饼再大，它也得受烙它的那口锅的限制。我们所希望的未来就好像这张大饼一样，是否能烙出满意的"大饼"，完全取决于烙它的那口"锅"——这就是所渭的"格局"。There is a saying goes, "a pancake can not be bigger than the pan in which it's baked". The philosophy it reveals is that, you can bake a big pancake, but however big it is, it's ultimately limited by the size of the pan in which it's baked. The future we expect is like such a big pancake, whether we can bake a "big pancake" as we expect completely depends upon the size of the "pan" in which it's baked—this is the so-called "bigger picture".
