《绿度母》中的意象更为复杂多变，更以一种张弛有度的姿态直面现代性困境。石头、河流、村庄、形形色色的动物、声音、存在状态等更具前启蒙时代的意象以浪漫主义的姿态一次又一次地击碎现代性的泡沫。这是一次后现代意义上的书写，解构现代性与工业文明，针对启蒙主义过度夸大的理性力量进行游离于戏谑与严肃之间的批判。(Green Tara has complex and diversified images and faces dilemma of modernity with a balanced attitude.
