九成宫体泉铭碑，立于唐代贞观六年。碑上刻的字，是欧阳询写的。欧阳询，字信本，湖南临湘人，唐代初期著名的书法家。曾任太子率更令，所以一般人又称他为欧阳率更。在隋代时欧阳询的书法就已经很出名，到了唐代，他以年近古稀的高龄，在宏文馆教授过书法。
