孟子慷慨人生 (Generous Life of Mencius)

孟子，中国古代著名思想家、教育家，战国时期儒家代表人物。孟子继承并发扬了孔子的思想，在政治上主张法先王、行仁政；在学说上推崇孔子，反对杨朱、墨翟。成为仅次于孔子的一代儒家宗师，对后世中国文化的影响全面而巨大，有"亚圣"之称，与孔子合称为"孔孟"。(Mencius is a famous ancient Chinese thinker and educator and the representative of Confucian school during the warring States period. Mencius inherited and carried forward the thought of Confucius and advocated modeling after deceased king and implementing benevolent rule in politics; praised highly of Confucius in theory and disagreed with the theory of Yang Zhu and Mo Di. He became a great Confucian master that ranked only second to Confucius and had a comprehensive and huge influence on the Chinese culture in later generations. He is known as "Second Sage" and collectively referred to as "Confucius and Mencius" with Confucius. )
